Wednesday already!

First the good news.  I think I am on the mend, that was if I was actually getting sick ;).  Justin seems to be taking teething a little bit better and wakes up only 2-3 times a night.  Yep I know just jinxed myself and he will be up like oh 20 times tonight.  Monday was just Monday and the same for Tuesday.  Today was Chris's birthday and I hope he had a good one.  (He is our adopted nut.).  Nothing else new and exciting.  I am still trying to get my ass back on track and loose some weight by summer.  I MUST DO IT!!!  Anyways here is the week so far in pictures.

We are still working on teeth, but seem to be content with it for the meantime.

Monday dinner.  Because sometimes when you stay at home you need to prove to your husband that you can actually cook a nice meal.

It was enjoyed by all. 

  

It was so nice that we did our homework outside.  Okay not that nice but a few weeks of cold weather it was almost 60 today and it just felt good to enjoy the sunshine.

The dogs thought so too.

Our lawn has still survived.

Oakie is getting old.  He drives me completely insane but he is definitely family and it makes me sad.

Happy Birthday Chris.  Thank you so much for joining our family this last year.  I know it has been quite an adjustment for you but welcome to the craziness.

Birthday number 2 tomorrow.  I will apologize in advance this next post might get a little sappy.  My baby boy turns 18 tomorrow and I simply cannot believe where the time has went.

The weekend

Still no sleep.  I do believe delirium has set in.  I was thinking the other night that I could probably be a Navy Seal seeing as I have not slept a consecutive 2 hours in the last 5 nights.  But then the whole in shape and need to tread water for like 72 hours that I would definitely not make the cut.  So I guess I will have to figure a new direction.  So here it is the weekend in pictures.  Justin is still teething, Ryan has gotten sick and I refuse to let anyone in the house know that I might be getting sick so shhhhhh.  Because well if anyone has ever lived in a house full of men when a cold arises you must talk them out of going to the emergency room because they truly fear they are dying.  I might be exaggerating but well NOT REALLY, they are horrible when they get sick.  So here it is the weekend in pictures:

It's what happens when you do not get outside for the day because you are sick.

We hung out with the doggie and spent lots of time in the living room.  Everyone was under the weather.  However remember I DO NOT GET SICK!!!

Teenagers begin lazy, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I like it when he hangs out at home.

King Nut (as he likes to think :) ), he SURELY needs to go pj shopping, ya think???!!!??!?!?

Made hot cocoa in the kitchen.

Saturday was actually beautiful and we spent most of the afternoon outside.  Doing mundane things like cleaning the car and weeding the flower bed.  Unfortunately I did not take pictures I was to busy enjoying the sunshine.

It should be a great week.

I am very excited.

Teething and lack of sleep

Today in pictures.  I think I might take a couple of day hiatus from blogging.  Maybe to think of something great or not so great.  Today was survival day #2.  Teething children and sleep are two things that most definitely do not go together.  Today:

 Today the sky seemed as it would go on forever and made you feel so small.  It was beautiful, if only for a little bit before the clouds engulfed the blue.

 It truly was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. 

We enjoyed the sunshine from inside today. It was cold outside and we are still crabby with a fever.

But the warm sunshine through the window helped warm us up.

As long as he can feed it to himself he will eat anything.

And gladly share his left over bottle with the dog.

as well as any remnants left in the seat.

And that is what one might say is serious drool.

After a warm bath, a clean Onsie, a fire, story time and bedtime rituals we bid Goodnight.
