First of all let me introduce you to.......Sonic the Hedgehog. This is Ryan's latest most favorite toy. Just for clarity, his first name is Sonic, middle name is The, and last name is Hedgehog. Ryan requested on a recent trip to Wal-Mart that I call him "Sonic The Hedgehog". He also gave me specifics, like if I just want to call him call him by "Sonic". If I am trying to get his attention I should call him "Sonic The", and if I am mad I can call him "Sonic the Hedgehog". These are part of my everyday conversations.
This morning when I took Ryan to school I was informed of the proper care for Sonic for the day. That I should make sure he is fed, napped, played with and changed. He asked if I could sew Sonic some clothes today if I got a chance, that chance did not arise :/, however Sonic did survive the day.
While cleaning I found some memories that made me smile. The shell is from when we lived in Texas and Brandon, my oldest came back to California for a visit and knowing how much I loved the beach brought me back a shell. There was originally some sand with it somewhere along the line the sand went missing. Go figure :/. The little pot is a small Mother's Day token but it was the last year Brandon and I spent alone together (before the other nuts entered our lives), I simply cannot get rid of it.
Just because.
It was very dreary today.
But we managed to make it outside if only for a little bit, even with a low grade fever :(.
We really want to walk on our own.
But for today we cannot figure it out, whew :).
So instead he will hold my hand, which I would not trade for anything.
as we watch the world go by
Just because sometimes he has the sweetest face.
Until next time.
That is indeed a GOOD day.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me feel like we're connected in all that every day kinda stuff.
I suppose I should be working on posting something or other today.
Love you sis---
p.s It's FREEZING outside!!!
But mooooooommmmm, Sonic is naked. I took a gray sky, bare tree picture yesterday too, but didn't take the time to get it off my camera yet. And I love your found treasures, especially the little flower pot.
